 Who We Are

Awake Language Solutions is a professional language services agency built specifically for Christian ministries, faith-based organisations, and those who carry a message worth sharing with the world.

We are a team of professional translators, subtitlers, transcriptionists, and writers, all Christians, all united by the love of Jesus Christ, and all committed to bringing the same level of care to the Gospel that it deserves.

We cover 42+ languages, with a particular strength in African languages such as Lingala and Wolof, as well as widely spoken languages including English, French, and Spanish. Whatever your project, we make sure the right linguist, with the right expertise and the right faith background, is working on it.

Why We Started

The idea behind Awake Language Solutions was born around 2017, out of a simple but urgent observation: not all Christian translations were being carried out by translators who were themselves Christians.

Language is never just words. It carries culture, nuance, and meaning that can only be fully grasped by someone who truly understands the message. A translator who does not share the faith may render a text accurately on the surface, yet miss the depth of what is being communicated. For a sermon, a book, or a ministry resource, that gap matters.

At the same time, we saw something else: powerful messages being shared by third parties, disconnected from the ministries that produced them. Pastors and ministers were reaching people they would never know about, through channels they had no control over. We wanted to change that, to help ministries actively take their message further, in the right languages, through the right channels, on their own terms.

There was also a third motivation. We wanted to create meaningful work for Christian language professionals, translators, subtitlers, and writers who are skilled, experienced, and deeply committed to their faith, and give them the opportunity to work on projects that align with their values and contribute to something greater than a commercial brief.

Awake Language Solutions was built to serve all three of these needs at once.

What We Believe

We believe that every ministry, every preacher, and every faith-based organisation, regardless of size or budget, deserves access to professional-quality language services.

We believe that language barriers should never stand between a message and the people it was meant to reach.

We believe that translation, subtitling, and content creation are not just technical tasks. In the right hands, they are acts of service.

Our team members come from different Christian denominations, but we are united by one thing: the love of Jesus Christ and a shared desire to see His message reach every corner of the world.

We do not only work with preachers. Any faith-based organisation, Christian schools, humanitarian ministries, missionary organisations, discipleship programmes, is welcome.

Our Vision

We want to be an active force in the spread of the Gospel, across languages, borders, and cultures.

Our focus is particularly strong in Africa, where many languages remain deeply underserved by the professional translation industry, and where the Church is growing faster than anywhere else in the world. But our network covers European and Asian languages too, and we are continuously expanding.

In everything we do, we want to make sure that no powerful message is ever lost in translation.
